LiNE supports Sea Scouts and maritime-oriented programs at the homeport on the Rahway River in Linden, New Jersey. 

LiNE is dedicated to fostering leadership, personal development, and maritime skills among young individuals in the local community.  Many of the youth that participate in LiNE sponsored maritime activities transition to maritime based colleges and careers.  Sea Dart II Inc. provides platforms and on-the-water experiences for programs including Sea Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crews, and other youth programs from across the tri-state area and beyond.

As a non-profit organization, LiNE relies heavily on the generosity of individuals and businesses to continue our mission of empowering young people to become responsible, knowledgeable, and confident maritime leaders of tomorrow. Our dedicated team of volunteers, which is composed of experienced mariners and maritime professionals, work tirelessly to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our youth to learn and grow. We firmly believe that by promoting values such as teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship while teaching solid maritime skills, we can shape the lives of our youth and the future of the maritime industry.
