Captain Robert A. Meseck
Captain Robert A. Meseck was raised in Roselle NJ and graduated from Roselle Catholic and Union County Vocational-Technical Schools. Robert has been an Auto Body Repair Technician for over 40 years. Robert holds a USCG 100 Ton Masters License and is the current Skipper of Sea Scout Ship 243 in Linden N.J. and Captain of the S.S.S. SEAHORSE, a 65’ ex-United States Navy MK l Patrol Boat. Bob is also a Mate and Plank Owner of Sea Scout Ship 117 in Tuckerton NJ and also volunteers for Sea Scoot Ship 228 out Rahway NJ.
Bob was a member of BSA Pack and Troop 53 out of Roselle NJ, a crew member of Sea Explorer Ship 243 out of Rahway NJ from 1996-1981 where he sailed on the S.E.S SEAHORSE, an 85’ ex-United States Air Force Air Sea Rescue Boat.
Bob currently volunteers for the Rahway Elks Lodge 1075, and received an Elk of the Year Award in 2022. He is a member of the Order of the Arrow and was the first adult Sea Scout member of the Order of the Arrow in Patriots Path Council.
Robert lives in Brick Township NJ and is the father of 3 adult daughters and grandfather to 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
Robert always enjoyed volunteering, and has served his local community as a softball coach for Brick Recreation, Brick Mustangs Pop Warner Association, and Brick Mustang American Youth Football Association.
